Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul Karim called for preventing degradation of moral and social values in the greater interest of civilization and its sustenance.
“Bangladesh witnessed many global developments. We are nearing to achieve economic emancipation, but we are yet to maintain social norms and practices,” he said.
The minister said this while addressing a discussion on ‘Enlightened 50 Years’ at Government Titumir College in the city marking the golden jubilee of the College, said a press release.
