President for boosting trade-investment ties with Canada

President Abdul Hamid has asked the newly appointed Bangladesh high commission to Canada to explore new areas of cooperation for expanding trade-investment relations between the two friendly countries.
The President made this call when High Commissioner Mizanur Rahman made a courtesy call on him at Bangabhaban here this afternoon, President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told The New Nation.
During the meeting, President Hamid advised the high commissioner to take initiative to introduce flight between Bangladesh and Canada.
He also asked the high commissioner to take steps so that scope of higher education for Bangladesh students is increased in Canada.
