President Abdul Hamid has strongly condemned the terror attack on a crowd watching Bastille Day fireworks in Nice, France that left 84 people dead and many injured.
In a message on Friday, the President conveyed sympathy to members of the families of the victims and prayed for eternal peace of the souls of those killed in the attack.
President Hamid wished early recovery of those injured in the incident and said Bangladesh will always remain beside the people of France in facing terrorism and militancy.
On Thursday night, an attacker drove a heavy truck into a crowd of people celebrating France’s National Day in Nice, killing 84 people.
