President asks new generation to work with dedication

President Abdul Hamid has asked the new generation to work with utmost devotion and dedication along with the government for turning Bangladesh into a middle income country as per the government’s plan.
“Bangladesh is now a lower middle income country and it will become a middle income country soon. The country now needs a new generation who will take the nation to the zenith of development and progress,” said the President while addressing the 12th reunion of Jhenidah Cadet College here on Friday.
Asking the present and old students of the cadet colleges to devote themselves for the welfare of the people considering their contribution to ensuring quality education for them, the President said the nation looks at the new generation with hope that they would come forward for the development of the country.
“The country and the society has contributed a lot for ensuring a good and improved education system for you despite having limited resources and capacity and if you are able to devote yourselves for the welfare of the nation, their contribution would be successful,” he added.
He said the responsibility of the government is to create conducive environment for the new generation who would take the country ahead by utilizing the opportunities-scopes offered by the society.
President Hamid said the government has been running 13 cadet colleges in the country despite having limited resources to build efficient, creative and skilled human resources.
