Mohammad Shahan Shah Azad, Chief Operating Officer at Banga Millers Limited, said, “We are losing many traditional festivals from our culture in the course of time. We have been organizing nabanna utsab for last few years in Dhaka with a view to introducing traditional festivals to young generation.”
He also said, “mainly farmers celebrate the nabanna utsab. Currently, PRAN Chinigura Rice is being exported to over 100 countries. The role of the farmers of Dinajpur is indispensable in this regard. But they are deprived of celebrating the nabanna utsab. We have organized the event to celebrate Nabanna with the farmers.”
District Children Affairs Officer Mr. Saiful Alam, Category Manager of Banga Millers Limited Mustafizur Rahman, among others, were present at the inauguration program.
