State Minister for Water Resources Lt Col (Retd) Nazrul Islam Hiro MP said here the present government has achieved remarkable successes in various sectors like education, communication, agriculture, health and power supply.
He said the government is determined to reach power supply to every household within the tenure of the present government and has given top priority for supplying power in the rural areas with a view to overall development of the rural areas.
The minister said this on Saturday while he was addressing as chief guest in a simple function at Kazir Kandi Eidgoan field in Alockbali union inaugurating the power connection line in 1,700 houses of the villages Nakjanpur, Kajirkandi, Murad Nagor.
