Ruksana Akter Popi has been rewarded for hosting special days’ events and Chhayachhondo on Bangladesh Television for many days. Most of the time, she hosted different programmes on BTV. For this reason, she does not seen in other satellite channels.
For the first time, she acted in a short film titled Bustard. She is playing in a special role. Many viewers have already watched Popi acted the short film on Youtube. Her acting was appreciated to all.
While talking in this regard Popi told this correspondent, “Though it was a small role but if there is importance of the character I agreed to work. For this reason, I acted in a short film. From the viewers I am receiving response for my acting. I am really glad to do the work.”
Popi informed that from June 10 under Turjo’s direction Popi will start to take part in shooting of an Eid play. It will be aired on Banglavision. On BTV, serial Opekkha was Popi acted mentionable work which was also her first acting. She wants to establish herself as a cultural activist. In 2013, she became the Best Model from Dhaka WASA at the National Parade Ground. Her performed a TVC of a mobile company also appreciated to all.
