PM goes to C’nawabganj today

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina goes to Chapainawabganj today to open and lay the foundation stone of nine development programmes, including the much-awaited second Mohananda Bridge on the Mohananda river.
Besides, the Prime Minister will address a public meeting at the Nawabganj Government College ground in the district town in the afternoon.
Prime Minister’s Office sources said Sheikh Hasina will reach the newly-constructed Chapainawabganj Stadium by an Air Force helicopter at 11.45 am.
After taking rest for some time at Circuit House, she will go to Saheber Ghat, some three-kilometres off the town, to inaugurate the 2nd Mohananda Bridge over the Mohananda river.
The Prime Minister will then go to the Nawabganj Government College ground after lunch and prayer break from where she will open and lay the foundation stone of eight development programmes.
Sheikh Hasina will first inaugurate the newly-constructed Youth Training Centre at Shibtala in Chapainawabganj town, newly-constructed academic building of Birshreshtha Shaheed Captain Mohiuddin Jahangir College at Swarupnagar, Chapainawabganj Eye Hospital, sub-station of Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) in Chapainawabganj town and Gomostapur Upazila Fire Station.
She will also lay the foundation stone of a new building of Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital for upgrading it from a 100-bed to 250-bed hospital.
