A 3-day long photography exhibition was concluded on Sunday on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus. The Media and Photography Club (MPC) of the university organised the exhibition in association with Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics for the first time at the campus at Jahir Raihan auditorium premises. At the ending session of the exhibition, Lecturer of IBA distributed prizes among the three photographers for their photos. Shoumen Barua was the best photographer in this year for his outstanding photography while Mohammad Tasawar Islam was the first runner up and Riduanur Rahman Miraz was the second runner up in the photography competition. Winner of best three photos awarded Taka 15,000, Taka 10,000, and Taka 8,000 respectively.
A total of 50 selected photos were exhibited. They were selected from 1000 photos submitted for the contest.
President of MPC Wahid Didar and Secretary Khalid Bin Mahmud were present at the concluding ceremony, among others.
Earlier, the photography exhibition was started on November 30.
