The biennial election of the Bangladesh Photo Journalists Association, Chittagong Unit was held at Chittagong Press Club Conference Hall recently .
Photo Editor of Dainik Samar FF Manzurul Alam Manzu , Senior Photo journalist of Ittefaq Mostafizur Rahman have been elected as President and General secretary respectively. The election was held for next two years term with direct secret ballot at press club . Advisor of the Association Manzur Kader Manzu conducted the election as Election Commissioner.
Other elected office- bearers are – Vice President Md. Rashed(Samakal), joint Secy Miah Altaf(Purbokone), Organising Secretary Murtaza(Banikbarta), Finance Secy Helal Sikder (Suprabhat) , Asstt. Finance secy Md. Hossain (Karnaphli), Cultural Secretary Saidul Azad, Sports Secy Minhaj uddin(Focus Bangla). publicity Secy Akhter Hossain (Naya Diganta), Office Secy M Haider Ali (Purbodesh) Masumul Hoque (Peoples View) Hannan Kajal (Nayabangla), Bacchu Barua (Ctg News) and Raju Dikkit (Manabjamin).
