The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has sent a notice to Petrobangla Chairman Professor Dr Hossain Munsur asking him to submit some important documents within seven consecutive days.
ACC Deputy Director Ali Ahsan confirmed the news and said that the notice was sent to the chairman on Monday afternoon.
Recruitments, tender invitations and development works’ related documents of its 13 organisations of last four years have been summoned.
ACC has already launched an inquiry against him on charge of amassing huge wealth and properties beyond his means.
On Sunday, the ACC assigned its Deputy Director Ahsan Ali to carry out the investigation and find out whether he really earned wealth and properties in a dishonest way.
Sources in ACC said the commission went for inquiry against the Petrobangla chairman after receiving some complaints against him.
