Padma Bank launches ‘Padma-Proyojon’ loan scheme

Padma Bank Limited launches an attractive loan scheme “Padma-Proyojon” for its clients.
Besides, loan schemes for purchasing car, home and loan for personal issues will also be available without any hassle in a short time, according to a press statement issued Saturday.
The official inauguration of the scheme was held at the BGB Hall of Dhanmondi in the capital. It was organised by Padma Bank Limited’s Dhaka South Zone.
Md Ehsan Khasru, Managing Director (MD) and CEO of the bank spoke as the chief guest, while Faisal Ahsan Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of the bank was the special guest, it reads.
The bank says that if any of its clients has a minimum balance of Tk 5,000 in the last six months at any account of the bank, will be eligible for the required loan. The installment per month is only Tk 90.
The MD of the bank said that this exceptional loan has been introduced only to provide financial support to the customers at their need. He thanked the customers for being with the bank with confidence.
Apart from the success of the bank in investment, remittance, deposit and recovery, Padma-Wallet, Padma-i-banking, Padmabati for women customers and Padma Pratidin-various modern products of the bank were presented to the customers.
Padma Bank Chief Operating Officer Zabed Amin and CFO Md. Shoriful Islam also spoke on the occasion. The Bangladesh country economist of the UNDP Dr. Nazneen Ahmed greets the customers.
