Popular actress and model Nazia Haque Orsha always tries to work in challenging roles. For this reason, though she does not engage with shooting round the month but her acted numbers become mentionable one.
On the occasion of coming Victory Day, Orsha acted in two special plays. One is Aronno Anwar’s Chhoto Bari Boro Bari and another is Tariq Muhammad Hasan’s Alor Pothey. The first one will be aired on Channel i, while another will be aired on Ntv.
Based on Faridur Reza Sagor written story Orsha will be seen to play the role of Lucky in play Chhoto Bari Boro Bari. She will also be seen in another play Alor Pothey in role of Nila which story is based on late Abdullah Al Mamun’s a theatre play titled Charidike Juddho.
Orsha has already finished shooting of these two plays. She is very much excited to work in such challenging roles in these plays.
While talking in this regard Orsha told this correspondent, “I always preferred to work in good story based plays. I also give preference about my role which must have importance in the story of the play. I have acted in two special plays which were made to telecast on Victory Day. While working in these plays I could realise what the situation was during the war of independence though I couldn’t see liberation war. I pay tribute to the martyred who were killed during the war. I request the viewers to watch the plays on Victory Day.”
Meanwhile, on the occasion of coming Valentine’s Day, Orsha also acted in two plays – Crisscross and Bhalobashar Meghphul – against Sajal. Orsha acted her first movie Shahriar Nazim Joy directed Arpita is also going on now where she is acting in a lead role. Therefore, she also acting in Sokal Ahmed directed serial Babui Pakhir Basha, which is being aired on ATN Bangla now.
