Aga Khan National Council
The Aga Khan Council for Bangladesh, like every year celebrated the World Speech Day at the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Center at Bashundhara in the city Monday. Civil society members, professionals, students and teachers from leading schools, journalists and members of the Aga Khan National Council and other institutions attended the event held recently, says a press release . On behalf of the Aga Khan Council, Bangladesh, its President Sulaiman Ajanee welcomed all the invited speakers and guests to the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Centre. He said this year, the World Speech Day was celebrated in over 90 countries, says a press release.
City Dental College of Dhaka
Dental Department of Health Sciences University of Hokkaido, Japan and City Dental College of Dhaka signed a MOU at Dhaka Regency Hotel recently. Under this MOU Health Sciences University of Hokkaido will facilitate the student of CIty Dental College for post graduation. Prof ASM Badruddoza, Project Director, City Dental College and Prof Takashi Saito, Den, Health Sciences University of Hokkaido signed the MOU. Professor of City Dental College Dr. Mustaq Hasan Satter, Dean of Bangabandu Sheikh Mujib University Prof Dr Gazi Shamim Hasan, General Secretary of of Bangladesh Dental Society Dr Humayun Kabir Bulbul, Prof Dr Rakiba Sultana and high officials of Japanese Embassy of Dhaka were also present on the occasion, says a press release.
