Bangladesh Chhatra League
Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), student wing of ruling party declared Jewel Rana as President and S M Sufian Chanchal as General Secretary for Jahangirnagar University (JU) Unit for next one year on Tuesday night. Said a press release singed by BCL central President Saifur Rahman Sohag and General Secretary S M Jakir Hossain. The newly made President Jewel Rana was assistant Finance Secretary and resident of A F M Kamaluddin Hall and Secretary Chanchal was Law Secretary of the previous committee and resident Shaheed Salam Barkat Hall. The new committee will extend within next 15 days. Mentionable that, on 2012 BCL declared JU unit committee with Mahmudur Rahman Jony and Rajib Ahmed Rasel as President and General Secretary respectively.

Green University
The 6th NihongoAptitude Test (NAT) in 2016 on Japanese Language proficiency was held in Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) recently. A total of 473 students participated in this internationally recognised test. Among those, 459 participants appeared in N5, 09participants appeared in N4 and 05participants appeared in N3 examination. The Japanese Language NAT-TEST is an examination that measures the Japanese language ability of students who are not native Japanese speakers. The tests are separated by difficulty (five levels) and general ability is measured in three categories: Grammar/Vocabulary, Listening and Reading Comprehension. The format of the exam and the types of questions are equivalent to those that appear on the Japanese Language Ability Test (JLPT).It is noteworthy that Green University is the only authorized Center in Bangladesh where NAT-TEST is regularly held every two months. Being the Test Centre, GUB also becomes a Japanese Language Centre going to offer Japanese language courses to respective group of people who like to visit Japan for various purposes, including study and work. Green University and SenmonKyoquku Publishing Co Ltd signed an agreement in 2015 to conduct this TEST. Students from abroad also sit for this test, says a press release.
