New Modern Media Lab for the students of the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication (JMC) of Daffodil International University was inaugurated recently. Dr Md Sabur Khan, Founder and Chairman, Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University inaugurated this latest technology based Media Lab at 4th floor of Daffodil Tower. This Media Lab was set up for practicing purpose of latest television technology and digital media concept of the students of JMC. The inaugural ceremony was also attended by Prof Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of the university, Mominul Haque Majumder, Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Engr. A K M Fazlul Haque, Registrar, Prof Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Faculty of the Department of JMC, Prof A M M Hamidur Rahamn, Dean, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, Syed Istiaq Reza, Chief Editor of Gtv. After the inaugural session a talk show titled ‘JMC Khola Mon Khola Janala’ has been recorded moderated by Dr. Saleem Ahmed, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of JMC.

Private University Public Relations Officers Association holds Family Day at Chandpur Estuary on Friday . A large number of members of the organization and their family members attended the day long program at different places of Chandpur. The programmes included visiting Meghna- Dakatia estuary, Mini Cox’s Bazar, Music, jokes and acting, The programme was addressed by President of PUPROA and Former PR Director of AIUB Lutfar Rahman, General Secretary of PUPROA and PR Director of European University Monirul Islam Rintu. Moniruzzaman Tipu, General Secretary , Bangladesh Public Relations Association and Head of PR of Social Islam Bank Bangladesh Ltd was present as guest of honor. A total of 50 public relations personnel along with their family members attended the programme . The programme was conducted by Md Anowar habib Kazal, Senior Assistant Director of Daffodil International University, Abu Sadat, Director of United International University, Imtiaj Ahmed, Director of South East University, Nahid Hossain Public Relations Officer of Sonargaon University, Asif Khan, Public Relations Officer of Canadian University, Farabi, Public Relations Officer of Northern University. Besides, print and electronic media personalities also attended the programme, says a press release .
