Gana Unnayan Kendra
A non-government organisation Gana Unnayan Kendra in Gaibandha has stood beside the common people of the country’s eight districts with positive attitude to help them apply online registration to get vaccination of Covid-19. Office sources said the government gave the common people chance for taking covid-19 vaccination to make Bangladesh free from covid-19 which had turned into a pandemic form in the country. But it is mandatory for all to perform the registration activity through online to get the vaccine. As many people feel the registration process as bother and burden for not having electronic devices like computer or smart mobile phone sets or efficient operating men in the families, as a result, it has the most possibility to drop many people from the vaccination. Taking this in view, the authorities of the kendra took the initiative to help the mass people apply online registration to end this under Empowering Smallholders to Strengthen Local Democratic Governance project at the arrangement of Shaghata upazila agri products producers’ association. Accordingly, the online registration activities have started and it was going on in full swing through setting up camps in 8 districts-Gaibandha, Kurigram, Lalmonirhat, Rangpur, Joypurhat, Bogura, Sirajganj and Cox’s bazaar of the country. Executive chief of the organisation told that the activity would continue until the vaccination activity was finished.
