Law enforcers recovered the slaughtered body of an unidentified man in the city’s Khilgaon area early Thursday.
Police primarily suspected that the deceased was killed and dumped on the road, said Bachchu Mia, In-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital Police Outpost.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College for an autopsy after a team of Khilgaon Police Station recovered it from the main road in front of Khidma Hospital around 2:00am, the police official said.
Wrapped in white cloths, the victim was wearing blue shirt and jeans pant, he said.
An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with the Police station, he added.
