Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote
A discussion on ‘Conspiracy of BNP-Jamaat combine against the state and the government’ organized by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote was held at the Shilpakala Academy auditorium in the city’s Segunbagicha on Thursday. Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary of the ruling Awami League Dr Hasan Mahmud was present as the chief guest. While speaking Hasan alleged that staying abroad, BNP senior Vice-Chairman Tarique Rahman has been hatching conspiracy against the country. ‘As part of a conspiracy, foreigners were killed to destabilise the state and cripple its economy,’ he said.
The event was addressed, among others, byVice-Chancellor of World University Prof Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, former General Secretary of Dhaka University Teachers’ Association Prof Dr Akhteruzzaman, Awami League central leader Habibur Rahman Khan Habib and General Secretary of the organisation Arun Sarkar Rana.Vice-President of the organisation and popular actor ATM Shamsuzzaman presided over the programme.
