A discussion organised by Tanti League to mark the 40th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was held on Monday in Public Library auditorium at Shahbagh in the city. Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Advocate Sahara Khatun was present as the chief guest. While addressing she urged BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia to shun her false birthday celebration on the day of National Mourning. AL Organising Secretary BM Mozammel Huq, MP, AL Central Working Committee member Sujit Roy Nandi, Tanti League joint conveners Khagendra Chandra Debnath and Sadhana Dasgupta spoke on the occasion, among others. President of the organisation Enajur Rahman presided over the programme.
