Nat’l Disabled Oikya Parishad
Leaders of National Disabled Oikya Parishad (NDOP) and Disabled Citizen Parishad jointly formed a human chain to press home its three point demands including ensuring equal representation of the physically challenged persons at all levels through proper implementation of the Disabled People’s Rights Protection (DPRP) Act-2013. The program was held in front of Khulna Press Club on Monday with its president Molla Abdul Malek in the chair. Secretary General of NDOP Masum Khalifa, Executive Director of USHA Dr. Kabir Hossain and General Secretary of KDDO Noor Muhammad, among others, addressed the human chain. The speakers stressed on ensuring congenial environment for the physically challenged, intellectually disabled and autistic children to flourish their latent talents and abilities for mainstreaming them with the process of building a developed Bangladesh.
