Staff Reporter :Members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) in a drive recovered four kilograms of gold worth about Tk 2 crore from an air passenger at the city’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday morning.Passenger Mizanur Rahman (40), who landed at the airport by a flight of Malaysia Airlines earlier was arrested in this Tanjina Akhter, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of APBs, said that suspecting the movement of Mizanur, the plainclothes police of AAP challenged him while he was crossing the green channel.Later, the AAP men caught Mizanur and recovered four gold bars after searching his body, she said.A case was filed in this connection, the official added.
