Badrunnesa Abdullah, wife of noted alem of Faridpur town late Mirza Mohammad Abdullah and mother of Additional Managing Director of the United Commercial Bank Limited Mirza Mahmud Rafiqur Rahman died of old-age complications at Holy Family Hospital in the city on Saturday. She was 84.
She left behind three sons, nine daughters, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
She was buried at Alipur Graveyard in Faridpur on Sunday after Namaz-e-Janaza at Ambika maidan in the town.
A Doa Mahfil will be held in Dhaka after Asr Prayers on Friday next. All the relatives and admirers are requested to attend the Doa Mahfil and pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
