Nurse Rima’s death : Owner on 3-day remand

A court in Kishoreganj on Monday placed a 3-day remand to Managing Director (MD) of a private hospital at Bhairab town of Kishoreganj over the death of a nurse Rima Pramanik.
The Judicial Magistrate Court-2 in Kishoreganj Senior Magistrate Kishore Dutta passed the remand order to unveil mystery of the death in the hospital.
The accused is Hanifur Rahman Sumon, Managing Director (MD) of United Hospital and Orthopedics Center in Bhairab town.
Abu Bakker Siddique PPM the Court Inspector , confirmed the matter.
Earlier, Sub-Inspector of the Police Station and Investigation Officer of the case Pallab Sarker produced the accused in the court on July 12 and applied for a five-day remand.
On July 11, police have recovered of a body of a nurse named Rima Pramanik(20) from a bed in United Hospital with a note in which mentioned “Nobody is responsible for her death”.
Sentu Pramanik, father of the deceased, filed a case with Bhairab Police Station accusing four people including director Sumon and another nurse Liza”.
