The budget of Nilphamari Municipality for the year 2021-2022 has been announced without any new tax. Nilphamari Municipality Mayor Dewan Kamal Ahmed presented the budget of Tk 45.70 crore in the hall of the municipality on Thursday.
In the budget of this first class municipality, the total income has been estimated at Tk 36.56 crore. The total expenditure has been estimated at Tk 39.44 crore. Of this, Tk 36.57 crore was spent on development. Besides, the quotation in the budget has been shown as 4 lakh 4 thousand 231 rupees.

At the budget ceremony, Municipal Mayor Dewan Kamal Ahmed said the Awami League government is developing all over the country.
