The certificate awarding ceremony of a training course on ‘TV News Presentation’ conducted by Bangladesh Institute of Journalism and Electronic Media (BIJEM) held Saturday at the conference room of the institute. State Minister (Finance & Planning) MA Mannan, MP was the chief guest at the ceremony and distributed certificates among the participants.
The minister said, ‘News Presenter’s should have vast knowledge on journalism specially news and current affairs’.
Proper training and continuous practice of news presentation technique including correct pronunciation are essential to become skilled news presenters, the minister added.
Md. Mashior Rahman, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and Shawon Dutta, News Presenter, Jamuna Television were present as special guests.
