UNB, Sylhet :The BNP-led 20-party alliance called a half day hartal in the district for Tuesday protesting the arrest of its leaders and activists during hartal on Monday.Sylhet city unit BNP member secretary Badruzzaman Selim announced the hartal in Court point area in the city on Monday. The hartal will begin at 6 am and end at 12 pm on Tuesday.Police arrested BNP’s metropolitan unit convener Dr Shahriar Hossain Chowdhury and two Chhatra Dal activists from Chouhatta Point in the city during the shutdown on Monday.
