Five to appear in court in Nice attack case

Five people held for questioning over the Bastille day attack in the southern French city of Nice will appear in court on Thursday and could be placed under formal investigation, a judicial source said.
The suspects have already been transferred from the custody of the French anti-terrorism unit SDAT to the Paris court where they could be charged, the source said.

Fire in 75-storey Dubai tower

Fire broke out at a 75-storey residential tower in Dubai today, Reuters witnesses said, the fifth blaze in a skyscraper in the oil-rich United Arab Emirates in recent years.
Flames leapt out of windows toward the top of the Sulafa tower in the upscale Marina district, and 10 to 15 storeys appeared to have been charred.
Burning debris floated toward the ground and firefighters approached the site with sirens blaring.

HIV infections on the rise in 74 countries

While the deaths from HIV infections have been on a decline, the number of people infected has increased in the last 10 years, a recent global study on the auto-immune disease have revealed. A research by Global Burden of Disease said that HIV infections have increased in 74 countries between 2005 and 2015.
