Durniti Protirodh Committee of Boalmari upazila unit formed

The new unit of Boalmari Upazila Durniti Protirodh Committee has been formed. The committee duration is 3 years from 2014.Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) Director General (DG) [Research, Examin, Protection and Public awareness] Dr. Md. Shamsul Arefin has approved the nine member committee recently. Sardar Muhammad Idris Ali, Principal of Kazi sirajul islam mohila college and Liaqat Hossain Liton, Principal of Shah Zafar technical and business management institute have been made President and General Secretary respectively. Muhammad Nazrul Islam, Principal of New model pre-cadet and high school, Minu Rani Saha, Assistant Professor of Kazi sirajul islam mohila college were made as Vice Presidents. Freedom fighters Shamsul Haq, AKM Zahurul Haq, Sakhina Khatun, Headmaster of Boalmari govt. girls high school, Md. Abu Zafar Siddiki, Super of Hatkholarchar mohammadi dhakhil madrasha and Md. Sirajul Islam, Assistant Headmaster of Boalmari george academy are the members of the new committee.
Legal Aid Committee meeting held

The monthly Legal Aid Committee meeting held at Kishoreganj Judge Court Conference room on Sunday. District and Session Judge A M Md Sayeed chaired the meeting. It was addressed among others by Special Judge (Women & Childern) Sadik Golam Sarowar, Chief Judicial Magistrate Golam Sarowar, Additional District Judge Aziz Ahmed, Deputy Director of Social Service Shamsul Alam, District Legal Aid Officer Md. Mamudul Hasan, District Women Affiars Officers Kamiza Yesmin, Former Bar President Advocate Dolon Bowmik, Saiful Quddus of POPI and Advocate ABM Lutfur Rashid Rana.
Anti-corruption campaign in Pirganj

Pirganj Upazila Corruption Preventive Committee, a local anti graft body of Anti Corruption Commission of Bangladesh ‘Duduk’ launched a week long programme for public awareness in prevention of Corruption. They organisd a human chain in the Pirganj Municipal Town in support of their anti corruption campaign on Sunday. Student and teacher of school, colleges, local administration officials, local Press Club and general people from all segment of the society participated in the programs. After formed the human chain a discussion was held presided over by , Md Mofakkharul Islam Vice Chairman Upazila Corruption Preventive Committee(CPC), where Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sabbir Ahmed present as chief guest. Among others CPC Vice Chairman Md. Ekramul Hoque, Secretary and the New Nation district correspondent Md. Mokaddes Hayat Milon, Head master of Pilot high school Md. Mafizul Haque, CPC Member Samima Sultana, Layla Parvin, Mizanur Rahman and Business man Saryardi Alom Sawpan spoks on the road meeting.
Anti- Corruption Resistance Week observed in C’nawabganj

Durnity Protirodh Saptaho was observed in Chapainawabganj. Chapainawabganj district administration and Chapainawabganj district unit of Corruption Prevention Committee jointly arranged a discussion and anti corruption swearing in programme on the premises of Baliadanga Islamia Girls High School under Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila on Monday. The discussion meeting was held with the president of Chapainawabganj district unit of Durnity Protirodh Committee Professor Dr. Md. Siraj Uddin in the chair while additional district magistrate of Chapainawabganj Md. Ashraful Islam attended the function as chief guest.
