Medical camp held in Kishoreganj

The Prothom Alo Bandhushava (Friendship Association) an NGO arranged free medical camp has been set in Bedepalli in Kishoreganj on Thursday. Free medical services and medicines were provided to the underprivileged children and male and female patients of Bedepalli at the new jail corner in Khilpara area of Kishoreganj. Hundreds of people, including women and children from the community, receive free health care at the free medical camp. Among others, Kishoreganj 250-bed General Hospital consultant pediatrician Dr. health care. Subir Nandi and Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital RP (Medicine) and Liver, Medicine Specialist Dr. Muhammad Abidur Rahman Bhoona were present there. In addition to medical services, various health awareness counseling and friendship initiatives are being distributed among the foreigner including medicines, masks.
DC exchanges views with farmers

Mymensingh DC Md Enamul Haque exchanged views with the farmers of Mashakhali Village of Mashakhali Union in Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh on Saturday . Deputy Director of Mymensingh Agriculture Extension Department Md. Moti Uzzaman was also present at the occasion. Deputy Director of Local Government Department Md. Jahangir Alam, Upazila Executive Officer Md. Tajul Islam, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Nurul Amin, President of Gafargaon Press Club and Chairman of Langair UP Md. Abdullah Al Amin Biplob were also present. DC Md. Enamul Haque said Bangladesh has achieved self-sufficiency in food today under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister. The government is working to improve the lot of the farmers. It is providing fertilizers, seeds, pesticides and necessary advice to the farmers at the field level.
Rapist arrested in Fakirhat

A rapist named Md. Nur Amin Shaikh (18) was arrested by a contingent of RAB-6 of Khulna Zone from the village Town Noapara under Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat district on Saturday afternoon in connection with a rape case lodged with Batiaghata PS under Khulna district by the victim’s father. The arrestee is the son of one Md. Ofaz Uddin Shaikh hails from the village Bhattakhamar under the same Upazila. It was learnt from a press release issued by the media section of RAB-6 on Sunday.
