A gathering of labourers was held at Dak Bangla Chattar in Iswarganj upazila of Mymensingh district marking the May Day at Ishwarganj Upazila on Tuesday
The programme was inaugurated by former MP and AL leader Abdus Sattar , Secretary for Industry and Commerce Affairs of Bangladesh Awami league .
Among others, trade union leader Syed Awlad Hossain, General Seretary of Jatiya Sramik League Mymensingh unit, Md. Aftab Uddin, president of Jatiya Sramik League Mymensingh ,Haji Rafiqul Islam Bulbul, Acting President of Bangladesh Awami league, Iswarganj Upazila unit attended the programme.
The programme was presided over by Helal Uddin, Convener , Jatiya Sramik League Iswarganj and member of Jatiya Sramik League, Mymensingh Unit .

A view exchange meeting on anti-corruption was held at Satota Songo of Moshakhali High school of Pagla Thana at Gafargaon Upazila under Mymensingh taking oath against Anti-corruption among students, teachers, Members of Govening Body with upazila Anti-corruption Committee on 29th April, 2017. Md.Faruk Hossain Mondol Chairman of Moshakhali High School presided over the meeting. Dr,K.M.Ehsan,president of upazila Anti-corruption committee was the chief guest in the oath and view exchange meeting. Md.Rafiqul Bashar ,General Secretary of upazila Anti-corruption committee, presented the meeting. Sultan Ahmmed Member of Gafargaon upazila Anti-corruption committee, Golam Mahmud Faroki Memmber of Anti-corruption Committee , Ajim Uddin Master ,Member of Upazila Anti-corruption committee,Md.Abdul Bari,Asst.Headmaster of Moshakhali High school, Md.Shamsul Alam ,Headmaster of Moshakhali High school, Md.Faruk Hossain Mondol Chairman of Moshakhali High school delivered their speeches to create awareness about Anti-corruption in the meeting . The chief guest urged the students to lead a simple life, to respect elders, to be attentive to their studies, to be well-educated, .He also requested the teachers to teach the students carefully, to come to school in time, Upazila Anti-corruption President Adv Dr.K.M.Ehsan administered the students oath about anti-corruption.
14-party to distribute relief in Sunamganj

The ruling Awami League led 14-party alliance to distribute relief materials among the flash flood-hit haors people in Sunamganj district on Wednesday. Two-day long inspection of flood affected people and relief distribution activities will be run by a delegation led by Mohammad Nasim.
Shibir leader held in Sylhet
Police arrested a leader of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir from Kodomtola area Tajpur union in Osmaninagar upazila of Sylhet on Monday. Officer-in-charge of Osmaninagar Police Station, said police conducted a drive in the area around 8:30pm and arrested Shibir’s Upazila unit president Mizanur Rahman.
