Favourites Bangladesh Navy lived up to top billing as outplayed Border Guard Bangladesh in final of the day-long Open Independence Day (boys’) Open 3 on 3 Basketball tournament held on Tuesday (March 29) at adjacent to the Dhanmondi Wooden Floor Basketball Gymnasium (Abahani ground) in the city.
In the lopsided final Navy hardly had to sweat as they beat BGB by 21-11 points.

Secretary General of South Asian Basketball Association and General Secretary of Bangladesh Basketball Federation AK Sarker witnessed the final as chief guest and later gave away the prizes among the winners.
Tournament Committee Secretary Sabuj Miah and other EC members of BFF were present on the occasion.
