6 skeletons stolen in a month: People panicked in Harinakundu

The people of a village passing their night sleepless as human skeleton is being stolen for the few recently. To prevent the stealing the villagers have been guarding the graves there, said a number of people in the village.
Shila Khatun, daughter of Nabin Mia said, the miscreants killed her father about six years back and dumped the body in the village. About a month later the police recovered the body which was graved in the village graveyard. But they came to know that the skeleton of her father was stolen. Since then the other people in the village started guarding the graveyards, Shila said.
The villagers said, at lest six skeletons were stolen from the village graves. They said, the skeleton of some Ramjan Ali of Gazipur was stolen from his grave on July 13. The skeleton of Freedom Fighter Idris Ali, 71, Badaruddin Budo, 68, Nabin Ali, wife of Nial Mandal, Freedom Fighter Manjer Ali, 75, were stolen from their graves by the miscreants.
The villagers said, actually they could not catch the miscreants involved in skeleton stealing.
Manjur Alam, chairman of Taherhuda union parishad in Harinakundu when contacted admitted the incidents of skeleton stealing in the village. He said, he was informed that the villagers were panicked due to skeleton stealing. He had visited the spot at Gazipur and proved genuenity of skeleton stealing there. The UP chairman advised the villagers guarding the graves to protect the skeleton, he added.
Harinakundu police station officer in charge Mahatab Uddin when contacted said, he visited the graves in the village. The police men were trying to detect the clues and nab the miscreants involved in skeleton stealing.
