Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Border Guard moved into the final of Independence Cup Kabaddi competition winning their respective semifinal matches held on Wednesday at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium at Mirpur.
Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) are organizing the meet and Bashundhara Group are the sponsors of this competition.
In the first semifinal, Border Guard Bangladesh hardly had to sweat as they beat Bangladesh Police by 29-15 while in the other semifinal Bangladesh Navy defeated Bangladesh Army by 36-26 points.
The final of this competition is slated to be held on on April 27.
Participating teams:
Group A – Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Fie Service, district phase champion team and third place finishers of district phase team.
Group B – Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Jail and runners-up team of district phase.
