After successfully participating in the International Defense Exhibition and Navy Defense Exhibition in the United Arab Emirates, the Bangladesh Navy warship Pratya returned to Bangladesh on Monday last.
Commander BN Fleet Chief Staff Officer Captain Mostafa Zillur Rahim Khan formally welcomed the ship at Chattogram Naval Base.
On its return to Chattogram, the ship stopped at Mumbai, India and Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.
Led by Captain Ahmed Amin Abdullah, BN ship participated in the International Defense Exhibition and Navy Defense Exhibition held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on February 20-25 last.
Naval ships, high level representatives, observers, military experts and military personnel from different countries of the world including Bangladesh participated in the exhibition.
Participation in this exhibition will play an important role in enhancing the professional quality of ship’s officers and sailors as well as strengthening good defence relations with friendly countries, Chattogram Naval sources said.
