Abul Khair Group has further expanded its medical oxygen support activities to deal with the second wave of corona. From now, Abul Khair Group will provide liquid oxygen to government hospitals to meet the demand for oxygen.
 Proceeds from the supply of liquid oxygen will be donated to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. An event was organized at the AKS plant in Chittagong on Wednesday (April 18) to mark the expansion of oxygen support activities. CEO Muhammad Abdullah, GM of Oxygen Plant was present at the ceremony.
Nazrul Islam, DGM NP Gaur, AGM Md. Samsuddoha and senior manager (HR and admin), Md. Imrul Quader Bhuiyan was present during the meeting.
It was informed on the occasion that Abul Khair’s group released the oxygen produced at the AKS plant in the public interest in 2020, which is in dire need of oxygen to deal with corona in Bangladesh. So far, more than 10,000 private and hospital cylinders have been refilled free of cost from the country’s largest oxygen plant with a production capacity of 260 tones per day.
In addition, more than 5,000 cylinders have been provided and free central oxygen supply system has been set up in 20 hospitals on its own initiative. Abul Khair’s group will continue its efforts to ensure uninterrupted supply of oxygen for the people of the country.
