A colorful rally was organized at the initiative of Computer Science and Engineering Department of North East University Bangladesh on the occasion of National Information and Communication Technology Day on Tuesday .
University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Atful High Shibli led the rally, the rally rallied the streets of the city and ended at the campus at Telihaor.
Dean of Business Faculty Prof. Tofail Ahmed, Department Head and Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department Ahsan Habib, Divisional Head and Associate Professor Abul Hasnat Ibn Abedin, Divisional Head of Department of English and Assistant Professor Md. Shamsul Kabir and Proctor Rathindra Chandra Gope along with teachers and students of the University Officials and workers participated in the rally.
On this occasion , VC Prof Dr. Atful High Shibli said that the current era of information technology, one of the areas of the worlds development, this information and technology communication.
On 12 December as the ICT Day, considering that the present government is very important for the development of information and technology sector, This organized by North East University Bangladesh to express solidarity with this announcement.
He thanked everyone for taking part in the rally. At the end of the rally, a robot made of computer science and engineering department students was shown to use bomb disposal and other risky work.
Dinajpur (South) Correspondent adds: The National Information & Communicated Technology (ICT) Day was observed in Fulbari Upazila in Dinajpur on Tuesday. In the morning Upazila administration and Department of Information and Communication Technology and Directorate of Information and Communication Technology jointly organised a colorful rally in the town from the upazila parishad complex. After ending of the rally , the discussion was presided over by UNO Abdus Salam Chowdhury . Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Rumman Akhter, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Samshar Ali Mondal, Upazila Cooperative Officer Hafizur Rahman, Primary Education Officer Mst. Hasina Bhuiyan, Principal Md. Abu Tayab Salah Uddin Tuhin, General Secretary of the Upazila Secondary Teachers Association Tojammel Huque and upazila community e-center entrepreneur Farida Khatun addressed the event as guests. Teachers and students of different educational institutions including Sheikh Rasel Lab, Upazila Community E-Center and 7th Union’s Digital e-Center’s sponsors participated in this program.
