Nasir hits double hundred against Barisal

Rangpur Division all-rounder Nasir Hossain hit double hundred against Barisal Division during the third day’s play against Barisal Division in the four day 19th National Cricket League at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Friday.
Rangpur resumed the third day (Friday) with their overnight score at 264 for with Nasir with 101 and Ariful Haque with 34.
The duo continued to pile up the runs as their partnership reached at 368 and lead by 235 runs after their score reached at 570 for 5 at stumps after the third day’s play.
The dependable all-rounder Nasir played an impressive knock of 270 off 467 balls laced with 29 boundaries and three over boundaries to keep his wicket intact for the fourth day’s play along with Dhiman Ghosh who was unbeaten with 5 runs.
It was Nasir’s second double ton in first class cricket after Enamul Haque Bijoy played an innings of 202-run against Dhaka Division.
Openers shine as Rajshahi Division dominate day 3

Opener Nazmul Hossain fell six-run short from his desired double tons and an impressive ton came from the bat of Mizanur as Rajshahi Division dominate the third day against Dhaka Metro in the tier-2 of four-day sixth round 19th National Cricket League held on Friday at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi.
The overnight batsman Nazmul hit 21 fours off 296-ball paired his partner Mizanur Rahman (175) for the 341-run opening stand, after Rajshahi Division resumed their first innings on the third day (Friday) with overnight score at 95 for no loss and scored 460 for 5 at as bad light forced to stop the play in the afternoon with Mushfiqur Rahim and skipper Jahurul Islam were on the crease with 3 and 1.
Mizanur also superb with bat as he smashed 30 boundaries and two over boundaries during his 210-ball stay on the crease while Farhad Reza well played 65-ball off 69 hitting eight boundaries and one over boundaries.Nahid Uz Zaman of Metro bagged 3-153.
Earlier, Dhaka Metro were dismissed their first innings at 328.

Sylhet suffer early jolt to chase target
BSS, Dhaka
Sylhet Division suffered early batting jolt to chase the massive winning target of 459 set by Chittagong Division as they lost two early wickets after the third day’s play of tier-2 sixth round of four-day National Cricket League held on Friday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet.
Sylhet Division still trailed by 380 runs and they have eight wickets in hand with one more day to go after Sylhet finished the third day at 78 for 2 with Imtiaz Hossain and Enamul Haque Jr were on the crease with 9 and 2 runs respectively.
M Saifuddin and Ifthekar Sazzad Rony of Chittagong Division shared one wicket each.
Earlier, overnight batsman Yasir Ali scored a magnificent uneaten knock of 102 runs off 176-ball laced with seven boundaries and three over boundaries after Chittagong Division resumed their second innings on the third day (Friday) with overnight score at 189 and finally declared at 380 for 7, taking a massive 458 runs overall lead.
Another overnight batsman Sayeed Sarkar well made 76-run off 134-ball laced with five boundaries and four over boundaries.
Enamul Haque Jr finished his spells with 3 for 131 runs while Ebadat Hossain bagged 2 for 84.
