Nasrul urges Indonesia to invest in Bangladesh

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid on Fridayurged the public and private enterprises in Indonesia to invest in Bangladesh, said an official release.
“Bangladesh has a better environment now for foreign investments …All the foreign invests are protected by the national security,” said the state minster while signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indonesia in its capital Jakarta to increase energy cooperation.
The MoU was signed following a recent visit by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to Indonesia and her bilateral meeting with Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
Nasrul Hamid said the area of the mutual cooperation between the two countries has increased after the Prime Minister’s visit.
Bangladesh State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid and Indonesian Energy and Mineral Resource Minister Ignasius Jonan signed the MoU on behalf of their respective governments. After signing the agreement, Nasrul Hamid said this two brotherly Muslim countries will work together for the development of the energy sector based on equality and mutual cooperation.
