MV Jawad rescues Indian fisherman from Kutubdia

MV Jawad, a ship of SR Shipping Limited owned by KSRM Group rescued an Indian fisherman Rabindranath Das (Kanu Das) from Kutubdia on Wednesday.
Ravindranath Das (Kanu Das), a survivor of Indian fisherman who fought with waves and saltwater in the Bay of Bengal.
Rabindranath Das told that ‘Everyone had a life jacket, but I have not any life jacket but three or four shawls (foam) inside my pants. When the boat turned up, I was inside the trawler. My nephew have a life jacket. She was sitting on my shoulder. Sudden waves came. The two went to the two directions. I did not see the nephew again. “he added.
He said, when rain came I drank rain water. But the fish were bouncing on my arm, neck. I have never slept day and night. Father, mother, son, and daughter’s face were floating in my eyes.
MV Jawad, KSRM, Bangladesh Coast Guard and the people of Bangladesh have repeatedly expressed gratitude for the return of my life.
 He added that , ‘I am still alive for the trouble that they have done for me, the way the ship has swirled. Otherwise I would go away.
‘I want to see my parents. In the video call on Thursday , I talked to parents, sons, relatives, friends all over the ship. About 5 thousand people came in my house. I can not express my feelings.
On Friday afternoon, the fisherman was confronted with the journalists at the Marine Academy jetty in Patenga. Later, he was handed over to local administration.
