A Dhaka court on Sunday asked Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to submit the probe report by September 28 in a case filed against Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir and seven others about the rape and murder of a college student in the capital’s Gulshan area.
Metropolitan Magistrate Begum Yasmin Ara of Dhaka CMM Court passed the order after Investiga-tion Officer (IO) Md Alauddin, an Inspector of PBI, could not submit the report. With this, PBI took 18 dates to submit the probe report.
