MPs hail PM for developing country amid life threat

 Lawmakers on Wednesday said the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is continuously trying to turn the country into prosperous one despite receiving threat against her life.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly for fulfilling the dream of sonar bangla dreamt by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as the country once was identified as a bottomless basket, they said.
Taking part in the discussion on the thanksgiving motion on the President’s address to the House, they hailed the present government of Sheikh Hasina for taking forward the country towards development.
“Bangladesh has incurred development in all spheres including the per capita income, economic growth rate and foreign reserve,” said AFM Bahauddin Nasim of Madaripur-3.
The per capita income raised to 1600 US dollars, economic growth rate raised to 7.28 per cent and foreign reserve jumped to 3,300 crore US dollars, he added. While the reserve of the country during the BNP-Jammat regime was only 400 US dollars,he added.
Regarding the development of the country, Abdur Rahman MP of Faridpur-1 said the Prime Minster is working 18 hours in a day and that’s why the development of the country has already go ahead beyond the development of India and Pakistan.
