FBCCI delegation off to Japan: MOU to be signed for expansion of trade and investment

As entourage of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina a business delegation of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FBCCI) led by its President Abdul Matlub Ahmad left Dhaka for Tokyo on Thursday, according to a press release.
The FBCCI leaders will meet their counterparts during the visit. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is schedule to be signed between FBCCI and JETRO (Japan External Trade Organisation) with a view to expand bilateral trade and investment.
FBCCI emphasize on Japanese technical assistance and transfer of Japanese technology to Bangladesh. The FBCCI leaders during the visit, will request for relocation of Japanese industries to Bangladesh and to facilitate more export of Bangladeshi products to Japan, the press release said.
Mahbubul Alam, Vice President of FBCCI, Selima Ahmad , President of Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry,FBCCI Directors Md. Jashim Uddin, Md. Aminul Haque Shamim, Sheikh Fazle Fahim, Md. Nizam Uddin, Md. Habib Ullah Dawn, Prabir Kumar Saha are among other members of the delegate.
The FBCCI delegation is expected to return to Dhaka on 29 May 2016.
