Kohinoor Begum, wife of former president of Betagi Upazila Awami League and eminent freedom fighter late Abdul Mannan Mridha and Member of Barguna District Awami League Advisory Council and mother of Betagi Poura Mayor Alhaj ABM Golam Kabir and President of Upazila Awami League died of cancer at Anwar Khan Modern Medical College & Hospital in the city at 7:21 am yesterday .
She was 65.
She left behind two sons , four daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death .
Her dead body has been kept at Birdem mercury as her younger son Ahsanul Kabir Rasel will come from Australia on Saturday night and launch communication has been suspended due to cyclone Fani .
Her first namaj-e-janaza will held at Dhanmondi Central Mosque, Road No-7 in the city on Saturday after Asar prayer and second janaza will be held at Betagi High School ground after Johar prayer on Sunday .
