Moniruzzaman Moni and Sohag Hosain were jointly leading at the points table after the third round matches of the UCCC Standard Rating Chess Competition each with three points held on Tuesday at Malekabanu Bidyaniketon in the city’s Uttara.
Hanif Mollah and M Hasan are closely following the leaders with 2.5 points while 12 players sharing the third position with 2 points each.
In the third round match, Sohag beat Shamsul Alam and Moni got walk over against Shafiq Ahmed, Hanif Mollah defeated Nasim Al Islam Hasan Mollah beat Mohiuddin.
