A modernized virtual classroom with digitized ICT-facilities was launched on the second floor of the Academic Building No-2 at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) on Monday.
The Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project of University Grants Commission extended financial support in setting up of the virtual classroom, a press release said.
Vice-chancellor (VC) of BRUR Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah inaugurated the virtual classroom at a ceremony arranged on the occasion.
Dean of the Faculty of Sciences Professor Dr Tazul Islam, Professor of the Department of Mathematics Dr RM Hafizur Rahman and Proctor Professor Dr Abu Kalam Md Farid Ul Islam, among others, were present.
