Yet another doctor died from coronavirus infection at Mugda General Hospital in Dhaka on Monday morning.
Dr Md Wahiduzzaman Akand, Assistant Professor of the National Institute from Diseases of the Chest and Hospital (NIDCH), died of coronavirus infection at Mugda General Hospital in Dhaka on Monday morning.
He was undergoing treatment at the Mugda General Hospital for the last 14 days.

Dr Md Wahiduzzaman Akand, Assistant Professor of the National Institute from Diseases of the Chest and Hospital (NIDCH), died of coronavirus infection at Mugda General Hospital in Dhaka on Monday morning.
He was undergoing treatment at the Mugda General Hospital for the last 14 days.
Dr Md Wahiduzzaman Akand was also given plasma therapy twice, but the
doctors at the hospital failed to save his life. After fighting for life over the last two weeks, he breathed his last on Sunday morning.
He was buried at the Rayerbazar graveyard near Mohamamdpur in Dhaka after his namaj-e-janaza in accordance with the health guidelines of the IEDCR.
Dr Md Wahiduzzaman Akand, who used to live at Taltola in the city’s Khilgaon, left behind his wife, a daughter, son-in-law, relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his death. It is learnt that his daughter is also a doctor, who is now serving coronavirus infected patients at newly-build Bashundhara Corona Hospital in Dhaka.
