With an exceptional experience Mir Sabbir has made a comedy type play on the occasion of ensuing Eid-ul-Fitr. Title of the play is Baap Beta Dewana. Mir Sabbir and Sayeed Babu acted in two lead roles in the play. Shooting of the play was done a launch from Sadarghat to Barisal named Water Bus. Story of the play was also written by Mir Sabbir.
While talking about the play Sabbir informed that in the story it will be shown that both father and son have interest for a woman. Many comedy incidences take place in the story of the play.
While talking in this regard Mir Sabbir said, “Last Eid, I made a play. This Eid I have made only play. In fact, I have to be engaged with acting I could not manage time to give direction. In the meantime, I have also to be engaged with my directed mega serial Noashal, which is being aired on RTV now. Sayeed Babu acted really well. I am very much optimistic about the play.”
Sayeed Babu said, “Earlier I worked under Sabbir Bhai’s direction. He is not only a good actor but also a good director.
I am very much delighted about the play Baap Beta Dewana. It will be one of the best plays in Eid.
It will be aired on RTV on seventh day of
Eid-ul-Fitr.”
Though Sayeed Babu gave schedule to work in several numbers of plays for Eid but he was
supposed to work in Nurul Alam Atiq’s movie Peyarar Subatash. But Ahmed Rubel worked instead of him in that movie. For this reason,
he could not work in other plays in Eid, Sayeed Babu said.
