A minority young man was killed by some miscreants at Kathgora area of Ashulia on Sunday noon.
The deceased was identified as Shanto, 18, son of Mintu lal of Ktubali area of Mymensing. He worked as a cleaner living his grandfather house of Ashulia.
Police and locals said, on Saturday about 8 pm Shanto came out from his house. When he did not came at home then searching different places he did not found anywhere. On Sunday morning his family heard a dead body was found at beside bamboo jungle. Then his family reached the spot and confirmed about Shanto’s dead body.
Deceased’s father said, few days ago his daughter made a loving relation with Raj Sheikh, son of Mahbub Sheikh of same area. When my son Shanto informed about that relation he forbade my daughter to continue relation with Raj then Raj and his brother Taz gave him threat to kill. Deceased father complained that his daughter’s lover killed his son.
Sheikh Badrul Alom, officer-in-charge of Ashulia police station said, 2 suspected was arrested in this connection till now. Deceased dead body was sent to Dhaka Medical Collage Hospital for autopsy.
