A minor school student was killed in a road accident in Ramnagar Bottala area of Harinakunda upazila on Wednesday.
Officer-in-charge of Harinakunda Police Station KM Shawkat Hossain said a human hauler locally known as Nosimon hit Zunayet Hossain, 7, son of Manohar Hossain of Ramnagar village, a student of class one of Ramnagar Govt Primary School, in the area while crossing the road, leaving him critically injured.
Later, locals rushed him to Harinakunda Upazila Health Complex where on-duty doctor declared him dead.
